This piece layers reclaimed cardboard cafeteria trays, photo-collage and acrylic to spotlight the hands that feed us. A cafeteria worker—in a black tee and teal gloves—leans over, scrubbing trays so students can have their next meal. Each tray becomes a “window” into lunchroom moments—sandwiches half-eaten, chipped mugs and reaching hands—celebrating the often-invisible labor that fuels our school days.
