Not Everything Is So Personal
This piece reflects my journey as a first-generation artist in my family, exploring the challenges of finding a sense of belonging in the art world.
Growing up, I struggled to see myself as a true artist due to the predominantly Eurocentric perspectives showcased in art history books, which often left little space for diverse narratives like my own.
Through this work, I aim to highlight the importance of inclusivity in art and reclaim my identity as an artist.
